Dr. Daniel Machin
Hands-on care for recovery, performance, and getting the most out of life.
A little more about Daniel
Hi, I'm Daniel and I'm from a small town in Pembrokeshire, Wales in the UK!
I became fascinated with Chiropractic after having a positive experience following a rugby related back injury when I was young. I became captivated by the way the human body works, its healing processes and how hands on care can help not only relieve pain but also help improve function to get the most out of life. I studied Chiropractic in Bournemouth at the AECC University College, gaining a Masters of Chiropractic degree in 2023. After spending a few years working in the UK, I decided to take the opportunity to travel, exploring both Australia and New Zealand, soon falling in love with the lifestyle, people and outdoor living New Zealand has to offer. Having grown up on the stunning coastline of Pembrokeshire and camping around Europe, New Zealand feels like a home away from home.
I offer a range of treatment options including spinal adjustments, acupuncture/dry needling, sports massage and other soft tissue techniques, rehabilitation exercises and have also completed training in shockwave therapy. I believe every patient is unique therefore I ensure each patient receives personalised care that supports their own individual goals and lifestyle. I enjoy working with a wide range of patients, from teenagers and active adults through to older members of the community, whether they are dealing with pain, recovering from injury, managing ongoing discomfort or simply looking to improve their mobility and overall wellbeing.
Having grown up playing and coaching rugby, as well as my fascination in a wide range of sports, exercise has always been a huge part of my life. This has led to my strong interest in sports performance and elite-level rehabilitation and management, combining chiropractic care with rehabilitation and I look forward to expanding my knowledge in nutrition to help overall performance and recovery.

I look forward to meeting you all and supporting you on your journey.
